Stay in one of our
We are not a big hotel with 500 rooms that all look alike, we enjoy getting to know our guests, so if you prefer no interaction and being by yourself then we would suggest that you rather look for alternate accommodation.
Four rooms are located on the upper floor which became part of the 2012 house extensions. The cottage is separate from the main house and was constructed in 2010.
The Deluxe room on the ground floor was newly converted in 2018 by adjoining the two old farmstall rooms.
The rooms are en-suite with a bath and a shower and equipped with fast internet connection via fibre, flat screen TV, 2 German and 4 South African channels, small bar fridge with 2 complimentary drinks, underfloor heating, heaters for the cold wintry days and the finest white linen. Other items include a hairdryer, wardrobe, bath slippers, full range of cosmetic products as well as a coffee/tea making facility. Towels are also provided and will be replaced every 3 days due to ongoing water restrictions.

All our luxury double rooms are situated on the first floor. These rooms either face west towards the ocean and the sunset, overlooking the pool area from their balconies (room 6 & 7), or towards the mountain side of the city, with views of Lion`s Head and Signal Hill (room 8), without a balcony. Each room has its own private en-suite bath and are equipped with underfloor heating and either have twin beds (separate mattresses joined together, room 6 & 8), or 1 queen-size bed (room 7).
This is the largest room on the upper floor of the main house with around 28 m² and offers views of Signal Hill, Lion`s Head and the suburb of Sea Point. It features an extra large, king-size bed (200×200 cm), flat screen TV and underfloor heating for the cooler winter months.
The Deluxe Room is our largest room of 35 m², introduced in 2018 after an extensive renovation. It offers an extra large, king-size bed with 2 separate, but joined mattresses, of highest hospitality quality (200×200 cm). Apart from the convenient, hidden, shady al fresco seating area outside in front of the room, there is another lounge area inside below the old sash window. The wonderful parquet flooring in the bedroom/living room area gives this room a very cosy touch. The large bathroom is separated from the bedroom by an American shutter. If you want to stare into the African stars at night there are two remote controlled Velux roof lights, or otherwise just close the blinds with a press of a button.
The cottage is separate and is situated on the opposite side of the pool. It offers a king-size bed that is suitably positioned to create a cosy place to relax, together with a large bathroom. It is newly built and because it does not have the benefits of the old main house granite stone walls, it is fitted with air-conditioning. The cottage has a private patio offering views of the pool, Signal Hill and Lion`s Head and it is the perfect place for some privacy away from the main house.
